We are "Warbirds of Ukraine". We produce reconnaissance and strike UAVs for defending Ukraine against russian aggression. Our main product is unmanned aircraft system "VALK-1" a.k.a. Valkirje. Since June 2022, we have produced and sent more than 500 UAVs to the front line.
The first aircraft was created in 2015 by ten volunteers of the ‘Army SOS’ Charity Foundation. The UAVs were successfully used at the front line by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces and the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps, however, there were no sufficient funds to expand the production.
In March 2022, we directed all the UAVs to the frontline, but realized: for turn in the war hundreds of such ‘birds’ are required. Since the Armed Forces of Ukraine has a huge demand in reconnaissance UAVs, we have started a new enterprise – ‘Warbirds of Ukraine’ Ltd. Our main product now is the UAV ‘VALK-1’ a.k.a. Valkyrja. Since June 2022, we keep expanding our production and involve inventors regularly. We have reached the production level of 150 UAVs per month. During these months, the Valkyrjas have destroyed the enemy equipment for for many hundreds of millions of dollars, and we are incredibly proud of it.
Since the beginning of the military aggression against Ukraine, our team has been providing volunteer support to the flight teams of the ‘Army SOS’ Charity Foundation. Eventually, the ‘Valkirja’ UAV was created, and it has been being used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces, and the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps since 2016.
In 2022, since the Armed Forces of Ukraine had a huge demand in reconnaissance UAVs, we started a new enterprise – ‘Warbirds of Ukraine’ Ltd. with the main product being the unmanned aerial system ‘VALK-1 Galka’, which utilizes an experience of the legendary ‘Valkirja’ developed by the ‘Army SOS’ team.
